Senior Shipping AssociateArcosa Meyer Utility Structures is searching for a Senior Shipping Associate for our Lancaster, SC plant. In Shipping, you will perform activities related to processing, receiving, recording, storing, and/or shipping raw materials/finished goods. You'll operate mobile equipment (heavy equipment, forklift, cranes, yard vehicle, lift truck) to move materials/products between warehouse/manufacturing facilities. You may utilize computer software to identify materials/goods, ensure accuracy of purchase orders, and maintain inventory.Meyer Utility Structures is a proud subsidiary of the infrastructure company, Arcosa, Inc. Meyer Utility Structures is an industry leader in the engineering design and fabrication of concrete, lattice, and tubular steel structures for transmission, distribution, and substation applications.What You'll Do:Operate 15,000 pound or higher forklifts AND cranesOperate track mobileUnload and load shipments as requestedPull product for fulfillment of ordersMove product within yardReview receipt of materials to ensure materials received is correctEnsure the security and accountability of materialsEnsure packaged goods are loaded according to documentation and bills of ladingFollow all safety rules and practicesLead Team by assigning tasksAssists in completion of all tasks to meet deadlinesTrains and ensures safety of team membersWhat You'll Need:High school diploma or general education degree (GED).Basic computer skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)Prefer minimum one year related experience and/or trainingSolution-based problem solvingCan-do attitude and strong work ethicLeadership approach to supporting individual and team initiativesEffective multitasking abilityPhysical Requirements:8 to 12 hours of sitting standing, walking & squatting.Ability to carry up to 50 poundsAbility to function in walking through an industrial welding facility shop environment (wearing appropriate PPE).Exposure to magnetic fields while in plant facility.Exposure to climate and weather aspectsEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
