Our client in the AEC industry is currently seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, the Electrical Engineer will engage in the designing, developing, and implementing of cutting-edge electrical systems for state-of-the-art industrial and high-tech manufacturing facilities serving global leaders in technology.


As an Electrical Engineer at, you will have a foundation in electrical engineering, focusing on low to medium-voltage environments. The ideal candidate possesses experience with distribution panel loading, short circuit analysis, voltage drop calculations, conduit and conductor sizing, and cable tray fills. Job Description:

  • Generate comprehensive technical project plans, specifications, drawings, and models aligned with both industry standards and client requirements.
  • Determine conduit and conductor sizing, meticulously accounting for current loads and environmental variables.
  • Assess cable tray fills methodically to guarantee proper cable management, organization, and future scalability.
  • Perform short circuit calculations to ascertain fault currents and specify suitable protective devices.
  • Perform precise voltage drop calculations to ensure electrical system stability and compliance with industry standards.
  • Ensure all electrical designs strictly adhere to pertinent local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
  • Apply established design techniques and exercise discernment in adapting and modifying design concepts as needed. Uphold quality control by adhering to company and team design and CAD standards.
  • Will work with Sr. Engineers, Project Managers, and other stakeholders on specific assigned objectives, complex features, and aid in deriving possible solutions to unusual problems.
  • Foster collaboration, communication, strategy, and support within your team, multidisciplinary groups (Electrical, Structural, Process/Chemical, Architectural, etc.), and inter-company teams to optimize efficiency, quality, and resource allocation.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, which qualifies for licensure in the state of practice, is required.
  • Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE/EIT) is highly desired.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
  • Experience with other tools such as Revit, ETAP, SKM PowerTools, and/or EasyPower is a plus.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., National Electric Code, NFPA, etc.).


This position will require you to work onsite in North Phoenix, AZ.
