Overview: As a CT Technologist, you will perform computerized tomographic radiographs according to established practices and procedures. Your role will involve reviewing exams for clinical appropriateness, prioritizing accordingly, and effectively communicating critical situations. You will also assist in new employee orientation and maintain required credentials in a timely manner. Must possess a NM Computed Tomography License or NM Computed Tomography Provisional License. Current BLS certification required. Associate Degree is essential. Responsibilities: Utilize clinical reasoning and critical thinking in managing CT imaging. Communicate effectively with patients and address their concerns while promoting comfort and healing. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care. Maintain safety standards and perform necessary clinical checks before imaging. Foster an inclusive environment by respecting cultural and personal differences. Support the orientation and development of new employees and students in the field.
