Commercial Construction SuperintendentSERVPRO of Birmingham is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage large-scale commercial restoration and reconstruction projects. This role is responsible for coordinating job site activities, ensuring safety and quality standards, managing subcontractors, and delivering projects on time and within scope. The ideal candidate is highly organized, travel-ready, and experienced in commercial construction environments.Key Responsibilities:Manage daily on-site operations for commercial construction and restoration projectsTravel to project sites as required (regional and/or out-of-state travel may be necessary)Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field crewsEnsure projects are completed according to plans, specifications, and SERVPRO standardsMaintain project schedules, monitor progress, and address issues proactivelyEnforce safety policies and OSHA compliance on all job sitesConduct site inspections and quality control checksCommunicate effectively with project managers, adjusters, clients, and internal teamsMaintain accurate job documentation, daily reports, and progress updatesAssist with material ordering, equipment needs, and logisticsResolve field issues and support change order processes as neededQualifications & Experience:Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction or restorationStrong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codesExperience managing multiple subcontractors and fast-paced job sitesAbility and willingness to travel extensivelyStrong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skillsProficiency with construction schedules, blueprints, and job documentationValid driver's license and clean driving recordOSHA certification preferred (OSHA 30 a plus)Preferred Experience:Commercial restoration or disaster recovery experienceExperience with insurance-related reconstruction projectsFamiliarity with SERVPRO processes or restoration industry standardsCompensation & Benefits:Competitive salary based on experienceTravel expenses covered per company policyCompany vehicle and/or vehicle allowance (if applicable)Health, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for growth within a nationally recognized brandWhy Join SERVPRO of Birmingham?SERVPRO of Birmingham is part of a trusted national brand with a strong local reputation.
