Description: We are currently seeking an individual with a strong background in System Administration to support web and desktop applications for a large enterprise. This position involves:

Providing administrative services for a large Windows enterprise
Assigning individual and group access to applications, domains, and systems
Managing user registration and profiles
Maintaining disk space on Network Attached Storage (NAS) and Storage Area Network (SAN) architectures
Providing directory and resource management
Performing change management in accordance with established policies, processes, and procedures
Logging all activity in Remedy
Ensuring that anti-virus software agents and definitions are current
Mitigating vulnerabilities reported by IT security scans and industry reports
Managing Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) and Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)
Maintaining software inventories, warranty information, and vendor contact information using automated and manual processes
Provisioning hardware as necessary to support hosting and service requirements
Developing and maintaining Continuity of Operations (COOP) information and materials
Developing, executing, and auditing backup procedures
Restoring data as necessary from backups

Required Experience and Skills:

CompTIA Security+ Certification
5+ years of experience administering Microsoft Server operating systems
Experience with Storage Area Network (SAN) architectures
Experience with VM Ware and other virtual environments
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Must have an active Secret security clearance

Preferred Experience and Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Familiarity with the U.S. Air Force Standard Desktop Configuration for Windows
Experience working with the U.S. Air Force as a civilian, contractor, or service member
.NET Framework configuration and/or development experience
Team Foundation Server (TFS) configuration, management, and use experience
Release Management experience
Windows Server
Visual Studio
Security Template Implementation Guide (STIG) experience
Internet Information Services (IIS) administration experience

Hours:

100% Onsite
Full Time (average 40 hours per week)
Flexible hours between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday
