Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of custom home construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to establish project goals, objectives, and timelines.
  • Develop detailed project schedules and ensure adherence to timelines throughout the construction process.
  • Procure necessary permits and licenses, and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Monitor project progress and resolve any issues that arise during construction.
  • Conduct regular site visits to inspect work and ensure conformance to design specifications and quality standards.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and approve payments to subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to provide project updates, address concerns, and manage expectations.
  • Lead and mentor project team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and organized for archival purposes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in residential construction, specifically with custom homes.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building materials, and techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, BuilderTREND).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
