Akkodis is partnering with an Atlanta based company on a mission to modernize the financial industry and aiding in their search for a Sr. GoLang Programmer/Backend Engineer. Their product itself is built by engineers for engineers, with a focus on democratizing financial market data and solving even more complex problems as they move forward.

Requirements:

  • Must have senior level Go programming experience.
  • Experience designing, developing, and optimizing backend systems with a focus on low-latency data processing.
  • Understand large datasets, low latency moving data through a pipeline, data quality, and the different ways of moving data (binary, JSON, Parquet, etc.). Ingesting data from 3rd parties, to data processing pipelines, to domain services to external facing APIs
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, APIs.
  • Knows how to deploy and operate in Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Kafka
  • Someone from a telephony, streaming, or messaging background.
  • Someone who has a sense of urgency, independent, can take ownership,
  • Candidates coming from start-ups or highly thought of tech companies tend to stand out
