Shiraz Creative is seeking a Design Director, Creative Services to join our Los Angeles team in helping drive results across various creative touchpoints for our clients (and our Agency). As a Corporate Event Designer, your primary role will be creating visual layouts and renderings for experiential events and brand activations, as well as developing a variety of digital and print visual communications— from branding, emails and website content to social media, advertising, catalogs and packaging. This Corporate Event Designer will support both the experiential production team and digital marketing teams; therefore, the designer must have a wide-range of experience with versatility. We’re seeking a full-time creative that thrives on innovation and having fun while producing amazing work.


This is a hybrid role.


Responsibilities


  • Ideation, concept development and design of client projects to produce forward-thinking experiential event activations
  • Build production-ready event renderings in conjunction with creative concepts and brand guidelines
  • Campaign development; including ideation, copywriting and art direction
  • Honor the integrity of original concepts while enhancing them with your design skill and attention to detail
  • Use your mastery of design software as problem solving tools in your work
  • Assist in design and development of digital marketing assets that align with client needs and/or event activations
  • Design and prepare presentation materials in Keynote and PowerPoint
  • Participation in project planning to ensure work is completed on time and on budget
  • Oversee final execution of deliverables (print process, etc.)
  • Work closely with other internal departments and outside vendors to meet deadlines in an efficient manner
  • Contribution of fresh thinking and design solutions that meet and exceed the needs of the firm’s clients and their audiences
  • Coach and lead our company's U.S. team of designers
  • Assist with needs for renders, or graphic design, as needed.
  • Role may require occasional travel and work across international time zones
  • Think outside of the box, bring crazy ideas to the table and have fun


Qualifications


  • 3+ years design experience, preferably in an agency environment
  • Must have experience in experiential design rendering
  • Have a broad creative palette and ability to connect with a wide range of audiences
  • Experience in digital marketing design and branding a plus, including packaging and brand identity development
  • Advanced software skills including: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat), Google Sketchup, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word), Slack, Monday.com
  • Eye for design and style required, with insight into latest trends
  • Be highly proficient at completing projects independently, efficiently and on-time
  • A solid creative portfolio with brand-building experience preferred
  • Ability to sustain consistent, quality work while maintaining a vigorous pace
  • Detail-oriented with polished time management skills
  • Collaborative, connected and influential personality
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills
