Field Store AssociateThe Field Store Associate will be primarily responsible for driving and increasing sales at Lowe's stores. This position will be responsible for engaging customers in the Paint and Pro departments, generating customer leads, implementing effective sales and marketing programs, providing exceptional customer service, and managing merchandising.Part-Time Field Store Associates are also expected to ensure maximum client satisfaction as well as stay up-to-date with product features and maintain the high quality and visual standards of the products.The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at Lowe's Store #2612, located at: 920 South Broadway, Hicksville, NY 11801. This is a part-time position working weekdays/afternoons/nights/weekends. The schedule is based on business needs and subject to change.Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise and other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the general public.ResponsibilitiesThe Field Store Associate plays a key role in driving sales growth, delivering training to Lowe's associates, and ensuring high standards in service and merchandising execution.ServiceEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales serviceAssist customers in person by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and servicesBuild productive relationships and trust with wholesale and retail customersMaintain Pro customer color filesTint and mix products to customer specifications as neededMaintain adequate store appearance and inventory best practicesMaintain adequate appearance of the color wall and back stockBuild and maintain knowledge of all products to ensure effective customer recommendationsFacilitate in-person customer connectivity between paint and pro deskProvide in-store Pro Desk paint support for real-time customer needs, Lowe's Pro Sales, and paint program execution, including in-store promotional eventsSalesPromote and represent Sherwin-Williams & Valspar brand standards and product strengths to Lowe's associates, customers, and contractorsFollow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Assist Sales Representatives in generating sales leads by interacting customersTrainingTrain Lowes associate on product knowledge and application methodsComplete eLearning ModulesEnsure HR Cloud trainings are up to date and within complianceQualificationsMinimum Requirements:Must be at least eighteen (18) years of ageMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the futureMust be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasionMust be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodationPreferred Qualifications:Have at least a High School diploma or GEDHave at least one (1) year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service positionHave previous work experience selling paint and paint related productsHave previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipmentHave a valid, unrestricted Driver's licenseAble to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one languageAble to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
