AWS Cloud Architect Job Description/ Responsibilities The Sr. Cloud Architect will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cloud solutions using AWS technologies. With a focus on Amazon Lambda, API Gateway, and AWS Cloud Native Security, the candidate will ensure robust, scalable, and secure cloud architectures. The role requires a deep understanding of AWS networking and management tools, contributing to the company's innovation and efficiency. - Design and implement scalable cloud architectures using AWS services to meet business needs. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AWS solutions seamlessly into existing systems. - Ensure the security and compliance of cloud solutions by leveraging AWS Cloud Native Security features. - Optimize cloud performance and cost-efficiency through strategic use of AWS Systems Manager and CLI. - Develop and maintain API integrations using Amazon API Gateway to enhance system interoperability. - Oversee the deployment and management of AWS Certificate Manager for secure communications. - Utilize AWS CloudFront to deliver content with low latency and high transfer speeds. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster skill development. - Conduct regular assessments of cloud infrastructure to identify and mitigate potential risks. - Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex cloud-related issues to ensure system reliability. - Stay updated with the latest AWS technologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Document cloud architectures and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity. Planning phase Client the Apps that are in scope for gap-analysis Agree on gap-analysis deliverables & detailed project plan Identify Apps that can be migrated as is to Nomura AWS Implementation phase Cloud Infra Gap-Analysis for Apps, where we have identified the gaps in the discovery phase Cloud Infra level recommendations for fixing the gaps and moving to Nomura AWS Understanding the functionality wise mapping of Macquarie Apps to Nomura Apps Support Approach based on AWS native tools Derive detailed plan for Cloud Infra Gap analysis deliverables and detailed plan AWS Macquarie Apps that can be migrated to Nomura as is Agreed gap-analysis deliverables and detailed plan Diverse Lynx LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
