Management Analyst IIThe Management Analyst II plays a critical role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of transportation and warehousing operations at NSWC Crane, IN. This position involves conducting comprehensive analyses of organizational processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategic recommendations to optimize resource allocation and operational workflows. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions that support mission-critical objectives and compliance with regulatory standards. By leveraging advanced analytical techniques, the role aims to drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase productivity and reduce costs. Ultimately, the Management Analyst II contributes to the overall success of the organization by ensuring that management decisions are informed by accurate, timely, and actionable insights.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.At least 3 years of professional experience in management analysis, preferably within transportation, warehousing, or logistics environments.Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Microsoft Excel, Access, or similar platforms.Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related discipline.Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS).Familiarity with federal regulations and compliance requirements related to transportation and warehousing.Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).Prior experience working within a government or military contracting environment.Responsibilities:Conduct detailed analyses of current transportation and warehousing processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.Develop and present comprehensive reports and strategic plans to senior management to support decision-making.Collaborate with various departments to gather data, understand operational challenges, and implement process enhancements.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and adjust strategies as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.Ensure compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and standards within the transportation and warehousing functions.Skills:The required skills enable the Management Analyst II to perform rigorous data collection and analysis, which is essential for identifying operational inefficiencies and developing actionable recommendations. Strong communication skills are used daily to prepare detailed reports and present findings to stakeholders at various organizational levels, ensuring clarity and alignment. Proficiency with analytical software supports the manipulation and interpretation of complex datasets to inform strategic decisions. Preferred skills such as knowledge of TMS and WMS systems enhance the analyst's ability to understand and improve specific transportation and warehousing processes.
