We are looking for a therapist to run one of our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) groups. Currently, the groups are from 9:00AM-12:00PM and 5:00PM-7:30PM, Monday through Thursday. If running the evening IOP group, this position would be eligible for a PM shift differential for hours worked after 2 PM.
The IOP groups consist of 2.5-3 hours of group psychotherapy. Part of each session will include psychoeducation around relapse prevention, assertive communication, introductions to CBT, DBT, and Mindfulness, and the disease model of addiction. We have an established co-occurring curriculum complete with handouts, worksheets, and videos, but welcome the creativity and input of our therapists to flex the content each according to the needs of the group members. Individuals are a part of our IOP program each day until they complete 16 sessions. The maximum number of participants in a group is 10. The IOP groups play a crucial part in early recovery for people with substance use disorders by helping them learn about the disease of addiction, learn how manage their emotions, and improve their relationships. The IOP therapist will also be able to provide individual sessions which allows a nice balance of both group and individual work.

As part of our commitment to continuous professional development and the therapeutic modalities utilized within our program, new hires will receive $2,500 in education funds during the first year, which can be utilized towards completing training in Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Required Qualifications:
* Master of Science or Master of Arts degree from accredited school of:
- Social Work (clinical track);
- Psychology;
-Counseling; or
-Marriage and Family Therapy

* Previous clinical experience with individuals with substance use disorders and mental illness.
* Valid driver‘s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
* Full Mental Health Licensure in State of Wisconsin (LCSW, LPC, LMFT)
(will consider candidates working towards their 3000 supervised hours)
*In-training licenses may be considered for candidates who demonstrate exceptional potential and commitment to ongoing professional development.
