Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Automation Test Developer to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of good coding practices and the ability to customize test scripts using JavaScript. This role focuses on designing and implementing innovative automated testing solutions using TestComplete, with a primary focus on UI-side applications and service-based automation integration, including workflows with Oracle EBS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement automated testing and tooling solutions, primarily for Automated Functional and Regression Testing of projects and applications.
  • Create, extend, and maintain test automation libraries and frameworks.
  • Provide accurate test automation estimates and timelines for assigned projects.
  • Develop and maintain datasets for use in test automation activities.
  • Coordinate and manage automated testing efforts across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Ensure thorough documentation, evaluation, and dissemination of test results; collaborate in troubleshooting issues.
  • Integrate test automation into CI/CD processes.
  • Communicate and report on the status of test automation activities.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) Manager and QA team to develop, implement, and enhance innovative QA capabilities, approaches, and services.
  • Promote awareness of the Test Automation function throughout IT and the business, and communicate applicable testing practices and expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 4+ years of experience in Test Automation Development in an SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) role.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, C#, JScript, and VBScript.
  • Experience with source control tools such as GIT, TFS, and SVN.
  • Fundamental understanding of SQL and databases.
  • Experience with both agile and waterfall methodologies.
  • Scripting experience with TestComplete (SmartBear) or other GUI Test Automation tools is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio Team Foundation Server (TFS) test management tools, Visual Studio Test Professional, and Microsoft Test Manager is a plus.
