Position: Nutritionist

Hybrid position and willing to drive on occasion throughout the Orange County area.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Meet with clients and identify their dietary needs by assessing their health, exercise routine, and food habits.
  2. Develop and help implement personalized nutrition plans for clients.
  3. Provide professional guidance on maintaining overall health and continued support to clients‘ progress.
  4. Oversee the consultation calendar to ensure efficiency.
  5. Provide expert level information to clientele regarding the benefits of maintaining a healthy diet.
  6. Maintain a current understanding of diet trends and how they relate to overall health.
  7. Help establish short and long-term goals.
  8. Evaluate and interpret the health needs of patients and provide direct assistance in setting goals.
  9. Apply basic knowledge and understanding of genetic and gut biome science theory to enhance the effectiveness of these conversations.
  10. Provide the highest quality nutritional care for common gastrointestinal conditions (GERD, celiac disease, irritable bowel syndrome, nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, obesity, diverticular disease, colon polyps/cancer).

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
  2. Bilingual (Spanish) will be preferred.
  3. A minimum of 2 years experience as a professional nutritionist.
  4. In-depth knowledge of biochemistry, research methods, and human physiology.
  5. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  6. A critical thinker with outstanding interpersonal skills.
  7. Strong interpersonal, decision-making, and leadership skills.
  8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  9. Analytical thinking and ability to analyze data.
  10. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  11. Occasional travel may be required.

Time Commitment Minimum:

3-6 hours of consistent time per week, during normal business hours (Monday - Friday between 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. PST).


Compensation: $50/hr
