Warehouse Associate - 2nd ShiftEaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a warehouse associate for the 2nd shift at our Woodridge, IL location. This facility is the leader in the distribution of finished electrical products to multiple segments including utilities, hospitals, data centers, arenas, and aerospace. The hourly rate for this position is $18.00 plus a $1 shift differential per hour. Hours: 2PM - 10:30PM (Monday - Friday). Why work at Eaton? Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you'll do: The warehouse associate is responsible for picking and packing products that are scheduled to be shipped out. You will work to verify orders as they come in and out of the facility. Load and unload trucks and process them to the correct area for storage.Pick, pack, and ship productVerify product, product numbers, and quantity for order accuracyLoad and unload trucks/containersReceive and process stock and materialsStock the warehouse and rotate/replenish inventoryMaintain a safe and clean work environmentIdentify any missing, lost, or damaged materialsAdhere to all safety policies and proceduresPerform other duties as assignedPosition criteria: Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime. Ability to lift/carry up to 35 lbs. Operate powered industrial trucks. Ability to move material as needed. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be willing to work in a variety of capacities/functions. Must have strong attention to detail.Qualifications: Required (basic) qualifications: No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the work location will be considered. Active-duty military service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Forklift, material handling equipment, or powered industrial truck experience.
