Description The Relationship Banker is a frontline financial partner (financial MDs) that is part of a supportive and dynamic member focused sales team. As a Relationship Banker, you'll work in a fast-paced environment processing routine financial transactions for members in-person, over the phone, and by e-mail. You'll engage in consultative conversations with members to establish a strong rapport and understanding of their financial needs and offer tailored products and services to help them reach their financial dreams.Primary Responsibilities:Quickly process routine financial transactions for members including deposits and withdrawals, loan payments, and cashier's checks, while ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to internal proceduresEstablish and maintain member deposit and loan accountsProvide the highest quality of member service by promptly addressing member concerns and escalate to leadership when appropriateProactively identify and recommend the best products and services to meet the members' financial needs and partner with service teams including insurance, investments, Premier, and mortgageMeet quarterly metrics and service objectives (i.e. campaigns, cross-selling, and referrals), alongside sales targets, and incentives to help drive and execute on key business goals and initiativesComplete required compliance training within well-defined timelines and utilize available resources to maintain in depth current knowledge of all current credit union products and servicesPerform account maintenance activities including updating member contact and personal informationPerform follow-up activities and outbound calls for new and existing membersExperience and Education Requirement:Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum six (6) months in a fast-paced sales or customer service role required; financial services experience preferredAbility to listen to members' needs and provide tailored product recommendationsExcellent listening skills with the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objectionsExcellent verbal and written communication skills; able to express ideas concisely and logicallyDemonstrated effective time management skills and the ability to work independently or in a collaborative team environmentAbility to work in fast-paced customer service and sales environment without sacrificing accuracy and serviceAptitude for learning a variety of computer systems using technology to solve member issuesPossesses critical thinking and decision-making skills with attention to detailWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteCertification/License: Notary preferredLocation: West 11th Experience Center - Eugene, OR 97402 (FULL TIME ON-SITE)Target Compensation in Eugene, OR:$20.50 to $24.75 per hour + monthly incentiveBenefits options include:Traditional medical, dental, and vision coverage401K matching up to 5% per pay periodAccrue up to 17 days of Paid Time Off your first year of employment11 paid federal holidaysSpecial employee pricing on lending products such as mortgage, auto, and personal loans (eligibility for special employee pricing is subject to standard account requirements and underwriting criteria)What makes First Tech different?
