National Pump Company is currently seeking a highly motivated and talented CNC Machinist to join our Glendale, AZ team. This position is responsible for operating CNC equipment to machine various materials and components used in the manufacture of Vertical Turbine Pumps. Responsibilities include:


  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.
  • Must be able to perform, but not limited to, the following tasks: milling, turning, drilling, tapping, de-burring, sawing and sanding.
  • Perform basic inspection of machined products (include documentation of results) using various measuring devices, such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.
  • Monitoring/changing cutting tools as needed, checking fluid levels and keep work area clean.


We seek a candidate with a demonstrated mechanical aptitude and experience in reading and interpreting mechanical blueprints. Candidates should have a minimum of one year of experience in a machine shop. A technical certification is an added plus.
