City of Hope's growing national system includes its Los Angeles campus, a network of clinical care locations across Southern California, a new cancer center in Orange County, California, and cancer treatment centers and outpatient facilities in the Atlanta, Chicago and Phoenix areas.The successful candidate:Shift: This is a full-time role. Wednesday-Friday 3:00PM- 11:30PM & Saturday-Sunday 8:00AM- 4:30PM. Floor care experience a plus.The Environmental Services Technician is a member of the COH Environmental Services team and is responsible for performing established standard cleaning procedures to provide non-medical sanitation support in assigned unit of the hospital. This position operates equipment and utilizes necessary tools, products, and supplies to complete general cleaning duties with a goal of providing a safe, attractive, environment for patients, visitors, and employees within the hospital. Duties may include, but are not limited to, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning light fixtures and furniture and emptying trash for assigned unit.Minimum Job Qualifications:Education: High School Diploma or GED preferredExperience: Healthcare Environmental Services experience preferredKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:Must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.Strong customer services skillsAbility to work well on a teamStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsCity of Hope is an equal opportunity employer.
