Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in Batavia, NY. As a Registered Nurse in the MedSurg/Telemetry unit, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patients' conditions.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry readings, identifying any abnormalities and taking appropriate action.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Valid RN license in the state of New York.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Telemetry setting.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts.
