Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The HVAC Construction Foreman oversees and manages the installation, repair, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems at construction sites. Serving as a lead technician, this role ensures that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and according to specifications.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance tasks at construction sites.
  • Lead a team of technicians, delegating tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring quality workmanship.
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings to plan and execute HVAC installations accurately.
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Inspect work progress, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, building codes, and project requirements.
  • Troubleshoot HVAC systems, diagnose malfunctions, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Order materials and equipment necessary for HVAC installations, ensuring availability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate records of work activities, including labor hours, materials used, and project progress.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians, promoting skill development and adherence to industry best practices.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company policies and regulatory standards.


Experience and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in HVAC systems preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HVAC technician, with a minimum of [X] years in construction-related roles.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
