As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Procedure Scheduler to join our team and support our mission.Essential Duties:Schedule patient appointments for gastrointestinal procedures, including colonoscopies, endoscopies, and other diagnostic testsCoordinate with patients, physicians, and medical staff to ensure accurate scheduling and preparation for proceduresCommunicate procedural instructions, including preparation and dietary guidelines, to patients in a clear and concise mannerMaintain accurate records of scheduled appointments and procedure details in electronic medical records (EMR) systemsAddress patient inquiries and aid with scheduling changes or cancellations as neededCollaborate with other administrative staff to optimize scheduling efficiency and patient flow within the officeFollow up with patients to confirm appointments and provide pre-procedure instructionsAssist with other administrative tasks as assigned by managementOther duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrior experience in medical scheduling, preferably in a gastroenterology or healthcare settingStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and scheduling softwareAbility to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environmentCustomer service-oriented attitude with a commitment to patient careKnowledge of medical terminology and procedures related to gastroenterology is a plusBenefits:Competitive salary commensurate with experienceComprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off and paid holidaysProfessional development opportunitiesPositive and collaborative work environmentPhysical DemandsThe employee is frequently required to walk; sit; use hands for fine manipulation, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms using a keyboard and video display terminal.
