Client Service Financial Coordinator

Job Title: Client Service Financial Coordinator Location: Mount Laurel Animal Hospital - Mount Laurel, NJ Job Type: Full Time Requisition ID: 1305 About the Job Mount Laurel Animal Hospital is currently seeking a Client Service Financial Coordinator with a strong background in client service and financial operations. This in-person, client-facing role supports the financial success of our hospital by coordinating all client-facing financial touchpoints, from patient admissions and discharges to daily invoice review and payment reconciliation. This position requires strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills across all levels of staff and clients. Responsibilities • Process and oversee open/pending client invoices and manage the checkout process • Perform daily financial reviews; reconcile treatment estimates and current balances • Review and update in-patient charge entries; manage census and reconcile with treatment orders • Conduct invoice audits prior to hospital discharges • Deliver and review treatment plan estimates with clients; obtain permissions and deposits • Serve as the financial point of contact for clients, referring veterinarians, doctors, and leadership • Close and reconcile daily financials; prepare deposits for the Financial Supervisor • Schedule and coordinate patient discharges; liaise with Patient Care Technicians and CSRs • Perform financial audits, manage payment plans, and follow up on accounts receivable • Assist clients with third-party billing or financing options Experience and Education • Experience or education in veterinary technology, accounts receivable, or customer service preferred • Knowledge of computerized billing systems (EZYVet preferred) • Strong computer literacy; proficient in Microsoft and Google Suite applications • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt to changing needs • Strong collaboration and communication skills • Client-facing demeanor with a proactive, professional attitude • A safety-first mindset with attention to hospital protocols Why Choose Mount Laurel Animal Hospital? • Supportive Culture: Join a team that truly values compassion, collaboration, and community.
