The purpose of this role is to oversee the full lifecycle of projects sold within the Building Environments business unit, with support from higher-level project managers. This position ensures projects are implemented in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner, meeting customer requirements within set deadlines. The pay range is $25 to $35.50 per hour, plus potential profit share. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, disability coverage, employee assistance program, 401(k) with employer matching, profit sharing/bonus program, paid time off, paid community service day, eight paid holidays, pet insurance, and more.Essential duties and responsibilities include:Gather and maintain equipment submittals and other project documents.Ensure all project contract documentation is up to date and accurate.View and analyze job reports utilizing company reporting tools.Estimate and build submittals according to customer needs.Monitor project costs and notify managers when costs exceed estimates.Recognize when additional work is required or when project schedule changes occur.Complete projects according to proposal, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, customer expectations, and time frames.Order equipment based on approved submittals and contract documents.Prepare and maintain project schedules using MS Project software or other approved platform.Review the financial performance of specific jobs.Maintain open communication with the customer and sales engineer on project status, risks, and milestones.Ensure that HVAC equipment meets industry codes and regulations.Schedule personnel, equipment, subcontracting, and material to meet project requirements and schedules within estimated costs.Ability to travel to and inspect job sites and visit customer locations.Qualifications include:4-year construction management/engineering or mechanical degree or a 2-year technical degree and 2 years of project management experience (OR) 5 years of Commercial HVAC project management (OR) 6 years of HVAC equipment experience.Knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, control systems, building automation, electrical systems, energy management, engineering, installation, management, and construction procedures.Ability to work effectively under pressure and with tight deadlines.Availability for after-hour consultation and problem-solving on assigned jobs as necessary.Proficient in MS Office Products (Word, Excel, MS Projects)Preferred qualifications include:PMP Certification in project management.Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. from floor to countertop and countertop to floor.
