POSITION SUMMARY: The IT Support Leader is responsible for both maintaining the company's IT infrastructure and ensuring exceptional internal user support. This key role plays a critical part in guaranteeing the reliability and uptime of our computing environment. A successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a winning combination of technical expertise and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. They are a valuable asset to our team, ensuring a reliable and efficient IT infrastructure while providing exceptional support to our internal users.


RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:

• System Administration:

o Manage and maintain servers, virtual servers, network switches, mobile computing platforms, and related systems.

• Support Metrics Ownership:

o Own and track key support metrics, ensuring the company delivers a high level of service to internal end users.

• Manages computing platforms

o Messaging platforms, such as Microsoft Exchange.

o Mobile computing, such as Airwatch.

o Wireless networking controllers.

o Security solutions and platforms.

• Collaboration:

o Work closely with the Director of IT and external vendors to maintain a robust and efficient IT infrastructure.

• Maintains clear and detailed documentation.

• Work Activities:

o Interacting with Computers

o Making Decisions and Solving Problems

o Updating and Using Relevant Knowledge

o Communicating with Supervisors and Peers

o Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing Work

o Processing Information

o Thinking Creatively

• Must be able to work well within a team environment and take instructions from management and co-workers.

• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently.

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job



Physical Demands include, but are not limited to:

• Must be physically able to perform work assigned.

• The employee will be primarily in an office environment

• The employee will be required to perform the following actions: reaching, talking, seeing, hearing and sitting.



Technical Requirements:

Competency in the following:

• ITIL knowledge/Certification - Understanding of Change/Incident/Problem Management

• Excellent knowledge of Active Directory, VMware, and enterprise virtualization.

• Prior experience with Brocade and/or Cisco network switches and the ability to modify configurations.

• Office 365 Administration

• Ability to maintain composure under stressful situations
