Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Compliance Specialist to join an Ethics & Compliance team at a corporation in Naperville. In this role, you will ensure the organization complies with state and federal laws and regulations, focusing on creating and filing healthcare insurance policies. This role offers a hybrid WFH schedule and competitive salaries

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and edit insurance documents to ensure compliance
  • Complete and manage SERFF/HIOS filings
  • Research and document filing procedures
  • Maintain an accurate filing status database
  • Resolve issues with State DOI and Exchange officials
  • Research and file required licenses and renewals
  • Support compliance program implementation and staff guidance
  • Assist with compliance investigations, security audits, and regulatory responses

Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of experience with SERFF/HIOS filings
  • Must have SERFF filing experience
  • Compliance experience in the insurance industry
  • Knowledge of state and federal filing requirements
  • Strong legal research and writing skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications

Preferred:

  • Experience in healthcare privacy, cybersecurity, and Medicare compliance
  • Audit and monitoring experience
