Psychotherapist

MICHIGAN PSYCHOLOGICAL P.C., a well-established and growing outpatient mental health clinic with offices in St. Clair Shores and Shelby Township, seeks licensed psychotherapists (e.g., social workers, psychologists, counselors) for outpatient treatment of children, adolescents, families, couples, and adults.

At Michigan Psychological PC, we work to foster a collaborative environment that respects the clinician, their time, and clinical work. We are looking for like-minded therapists who have a strong commitment to patient care. We do not merely rent space, or fill our offices with just anyone We operate as a group practice where we share one common goal: excellent patient care and a strong emphasis on professionalism. We have built our practice by providing an inclusive, welcoming, supportive environment for therapists and patients. Therapists are provided with the support they need to focus on the important work of providing treatment. Additionally, we provide an excellent fee split, while managing credentialing, in-house billing, and superior front office staff who support your back-office needs.

LP, LLP, TLLP, LMSW, LLMSW, LPC, LLPC, are all welcome to apply. Michigan Psychological, P.C. provides supervision to limited licensed practitioners of all licensures.

WHAT WE OFFER:

• Fee for service- 55-65% Per session fee split, based on CPT code, license, and insurance reimbursement.
• W-2 employee or 1099 options
• Benefit package including health care and 401k
• Supervision included for limited licensed clinicians
• MICHIGAN PSYCHOLOGICAL P.C. accepts a variety of commercial insurances. Most therapists - social workers, psychologists, counselors, and limited licensed psychologists will have a full caseload in approximately 4-6 weeks.
• In-house billing and clerical staff

Part-time or Full-time, 25+ weekly sessions during our clinic's weekday and Saturday hours. Additional hours may be available. Shelby Township office or Saint Clair Shores office.

REQUIREMENTS

• LLP, LP, TLLP, LMSW, LLMSW, LPC, or LLPC active and current license in the state of Michigan and ongoing professional development/continuing education.
• Malpractice insurance ($1 million/$3 million).
• Strong clinical foundation - DSM-5-TR diagnosis, treatment, planning, intervention and record keeping skills. Ability to function independently consistent with MICHIGAN PSYCHOLOGICAL, P.C. policies/procedures, community standards and professional code of ethics.
• Use of screening tools to measure outcomes/improve performance
• Efficient management of collections and paperwork.
