Shift: Monday-Friday, 330pm-1130pm or 4pm - 12am

The MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) Technologist will assist and guide patients through MRI scans. MRI technologists operate magnetic resonance imaging machines in the healthcare sector. They create diagnostic images of patients according to their physicians' instructions, take patients' histories, prepare them for scans, and keep them calm and comfortable during the process.

Skills Needed:

Exceptional communication, technical and patient care skills
Aptitude toward the team philosophy
Team player
Ability to work independently without direct supervision
Basic computer skills
Knowledge of sterile technique

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required

Licensure -

For MRI registered:

One of the following is required Certifications/Licensures: (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT), Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT), Certified Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR)(ARRT

For MRI non-registered:

Required Certifications/Licensures: (Radiologic Technologist by the State of Indiana and ARRT(R) Registry. OR Radiology Student Permit by the State of Indiana and ARRT registry eligible. ARRT(R) registry and Radiologic Technologist License by the State of Indiana be obtained within six months.
ARRT(MR), ARMRIT or CAMRT registered within two years from 1/1/2020 or if job entry after 1/1/2020, two years from date of job entry.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.38 - $78.00 per hour
