Warehouse WorkerJoin our dynamic food distribution facility as a Warehouse Worker, where you will be responsible for using a pallet jack to load outbound trailers.Responsibilities:Unloading trucks by hand or using a pallet jack.Handling pallets coming from Puerto Rico, managing approximately 1300 cases a day.Picking and loading orders onto trucks for deliveries.Ensuring timely dispatch of deliveries, with 6+ trucks going out each night to NC/SC.Maintaining punctuality as no late days or missed days are allowed for full qualification.Essential Skills:Experience in general labor and material handling.Proficiency in using pallet jacks.Ability to efficiently load and unload trucks.Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Experience in working within a food distribution environment is a plus.Why Work Here?This position offers you the chance to be part of a nationally recognized brand and distributor of food products. Day shifts run from 7 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday, while night shifts are from 5 pm to finish, Sunday to Thursday. Employees working more than 20 hours a week are compensated for 40 hours. The role requires adherence to safety standards and may involve moderate physical activity.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Prince George, VA.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $17.00/hr.
