Job Summary

We are hiring a Senior Accountant who is looking for a challenging accounting leader role in a fast-growing SaaS company. This Senior Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day operations and plays a key role in MTech Systems finance team.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform month-end closing, prepare journal entries, reconcile inter-company transactions, review account balances, and report in the parent company’s consolidation systems
  • Supervise and assist closing activities performed by the team members
  • Provide accounting guidance on the daily accounting activities performed by the team members
  • Prepare internal control documentation and respond to quarterly internal control questionnaire required by the parent company
  • Prepare requested documents and assists internal and external audits
  • Process accounts payable transactions and enter the transactions on the company’s credit card
  • Improve accounting and operational process
  • Own full closing process


Requirements

  • Four-year college degree in accounting or equivalent
  • CPA or CPA track preferred
  • 3+ years of work experience in corporate accounting
  • Strong working knowledge in US GAAP or IFRS, including full understanding on financial statements, income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
  • Excellent work ethics, strong attention to detail and commitment to meet deadlines
  • Possess an intuitive and numbers-focused skill set with sharp critical thinking skills
  • Strong technical, analytical, communications, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite. Advanced Excel skills are a must
  • Experience in financial audit
