Salary Range: $70-80K + excellent benefits, growth opportunity, PTO, and bonus potential
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Are you ready to be a key player in driving production success for a local manufacturing powerhouse? We are seeking a dedicated Production Planner to join a cross-functional management team in the Noriwch, NY area. In this role you will lead the charge in managing the plant's production schedule and serve as the primary liaison for valued customers.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate directly with customers to guarantee timely delivery of products
- Strategically plan, issue, and oversee material demand to meet production scheduling needs
- Maintain open communication with manufacturing leaders, adjusting schedules as required
- Proactively notify team members of potential issues that could impact service
- Monitor daily capacity and production progress, making necessary adjustments
- Develop and distribute monthly and weekly demand forecasts, highlighting significant changes
- Provide supervision and support to direct reports in their day-to-day activities
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of manufacturing production planning experience
- Proficiency in managing diverse internal stakeholders, including forecasting, inventory, maintenance, and quality assurance
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft 365 and experience with ERP systems.
- Familiarity with MPS/MRP and ERP systems
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing constant change
- Exceptional interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills across all organizational levels
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of making sound decisions
- Effective multitasking abilities with a knack for setting and meeting priorities
- A collaborative spirit, able to work seamlessly across departments
