Our Fund Accountants gain a broad range of investment accounting exposure by providing accounting support for the Firm's private credit investment activities.Specifically, this individual is responsible for various functions within the private credit investment accounting group including:Review of annual audit reports and quarterly financial statements and capital accounts prepared by the third-party administratorReview the quarterly valuation of private credit fund program investments and coordinate with the third-party administrator to record the valuationsParticipate in the cash reconciliation process and review of cash reconciliations prepared by the third-party administratorAssist in the onboarding of new funds and separate accounts with the third-party administratorCoordinate and prepare responses to requests from the private credit investment team, client service team and investorsCompletion of special projects as they ariseRequirements:We seek an individual who is self-disciplined, demonstrates creative thinking and has the following characteristics:Undergraduate degree in accounting is required6+ years of total experience with a minimum of 4 years of relevant private credit accounting experience working at a private credit manager or a fund accounting administratorCPA preferredProficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word as well as Adobe AcrobatSelf-starter who can work with minimal supervision within a team environmentStrong organization and communication skillsNYC Pay Range $120,000 - $175,000 USDIllinois Pay Transparency $120,000 - $175,000 USD
