We have a sincere drive toward the goal of helping make fire and water damage Like it never even happenedEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesInventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project.Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance.Perform production processes, demolition and other labor intensive tasks;Perform fire and water damage restoration, extracting standing water, demolition, etc.Prepare rooms/areas for work activities;Set up staging area and placing equipment for each project.Adhere to safety and risk management guidelines at all times.Communicate with restoration supervisor, other technicians, project manager, office and management personnel to maintain efficient production processes.Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown.Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance.OtherRemoving and installation of carpet, padding, vinyl, and wood flooring is a plusPatching sheetrock/drywall, taping, sanding, and painting is a plusRemoving and installing of floor molding is a plusOther ad-hoc duties assigned and requested by management.Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies:Effective communication with basic math and computer skills; preferredExperience in cleaning/restoration; preferredIICRC certifications; preferredValid drivers license; requiredAbility to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistanceAbility to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of timeAbility to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objectsAbility to work with/around cleaning products/chemicalsAbility to travel locally and out of state when necessaryAbility to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable lawPrevious experience cleaning, restoration, general labor or construction industry; preferredAbility to respond appropriately and interact positively with customersMust have a professional appearance and great attitudeCapable to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environmentEducationHigh school diploma/GED; requiredCompensation & BenefitsWe offer competitive pay as well as comprehensive benefits.
