Job Title : Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Location : Dallas, TX Shift : 12-Hour Days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) Shifts Per Week : 3 Scheduled Hours :36 hours per week Hourly Rate : $33 - $48 Sign-On Bonus : $10,000 Job Overview : We are seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to join our dynamic team in Dallas, TX. This role involves assisting physicians with a variety of cardiovascular procedures including arteriograms, catheterizations, pacemaker and defibrillator implantations, and more. The ideal candidate will be proficient in electrophysiology and interventional techniques, with strong skills in patient care, monitoring, and radiation safety. Key Responsibilities : Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, including pacemaker implantations, cardiac defibrillators, and arteriograms. Ensure compliance with national and state radiation protection regulations for the safety of patients, staff, and self. Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care, including monitoring vital signs and answering patient questions to ensure comfort and understanding. Perform ECG monitoring, assist with 3D mapping, RF/Cryo ablation systems, and maintain accurate procedural documentation. Prepare and maintain sterile fields, order supplies, and ensure all equipment is calibrated and functioning properly. Collaborate in quality control monitoring, performance improvement initiatives, and inventory audits. Participate in the training of new staff and students, and engage in department governance and professional development committees. Transport patients to and from the procedural area while maintaining excellent customer service. Qualifications : Education: Associates degree in a related field or completion of a U.S. military training program with equivalent experience, or 2 years of related cardiovascular lab experience. Experience: Less than 1 year of experience required. Certifications/License: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of hire/transfer. Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire/transfer. Must hold one of the following certifications: ARRT-R, RCIS, RCES, CEPS, or CCDS.
