About the job

Prostoria is expanding it's business to the US and are looking for a full-time, dynamic Senior Architect/Interior Designer passionate about sales to join our sales team in Prostoria Flagship store in River North district of Chicago.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for offering the outstanding service to our clients and for reaching sales goals. The ideal candidate has a retail sales experience, ideally in the high-end furniture market and/or interior design with an understanding the specifics of prostoria or comparable brand clients.



Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Working both with architects/interior designers and retail clients on specifications of products and all aspects of the order from the initial design, layout, choice of fabric and finishes, to the managing orders and follow-up after white glove delivery and assembly service.
  • Preparation of various sales-related documents (offers,orders, invoices, etc.)
  • Organizing and supervising sales process, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to the efficient operation of the company's sales and distribution activities
  • Providing planning, design and coordination of small to large scale projects for Prostoria and for clients, including visits of the client's sites     
  •  Visit of the client's sites as a part of the planning and selection process;
  •  Organizing delivery of the products to customers and ensuring the efficient and timely movement of goods
  •  Taking care of the customer's network, building and maintaining customer databases and reference list of projects; visits of the architectural and design firms as a part of developing relationships with the specifiers
  •  Resolving customer complaints and providing necessary customer after sales support
  • Taking care of the layout , atmosphere and design concept of Prostoria Flagship store and Showroom in Chicago
  • Managing time and workload of own work efforts and those of others to meet project task deadlines and commitments
  • In collaboration with team members, contributing to a clear and consistent work plan to achieve the budget and meet deadlines and commitments
  • Participation, work and support at local and international furniture fairs
  • Maintaining company's code of conduct and best practices in order to keep Prostoria Flagship Store Chicago commited to high brand standards and exceptional services



Required qualifications:

  • Professional degree in Architecture or Interior design
  •  5 + years of professional experience as architect/interior designer
  • Outstanding sales skills
  • Ideally having experience in the retail sales of high-end furniture market and informed about other brands in the market
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CAD, SketchUp and similar tools (both 2D and 3D)
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a passion for design furniture and designing spaces
