Sr Multimedia Designer

4x week onsite in Parsippany, NJ

40hrs a week, Contract-to-hire

Looking for accurate and fast – strong technical proficiencies and solid design.***


We are looking for a Sr Graphic Designer with expertise in a diverse range of graphic design capabilities including print, packaging design, website layout, digital creative, social media, video (multimedia), & powerpoint. The ideal candidate will lead the over creative process from ideation, design concepts, production, editing, and more. That said, the initial focus is more on updating existing asset library, extending new brand throughout all pieces and as needed projects, videos for focus groups, powerpoints for meetings, etc. A passion for creating design and aligning with brand identity. Must have a strong portfolio and examples of a broad range of capabilities with strong brand visual language.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the overall brand identity and drive consistency in content across all categories. Manage the content process and ensure all assets follow brand guidelines.
  • Deliver impactful design and production needs for content that translates to various marketing vehicles: marketing collateral, social media channels, paid media, retail, online assets for trade shows/events and interna; presentations and more.
  • Evaluate overall marketing content and evaluate competitive trends to better tell the brand and product story. Creative assets that communicate the consumer benefits.
  • Develop creative work that delivers on the overall marketing strategy.
  • Manage the intake process and production timelines. ( They know this will be hard at first )
  • Maintain consistency and ensure all graphic assets align with the Midea Brand Guidelines.
  • Ensures content output meets retailer and .com standards and requirements.
  • Works closely with product and brand team to develop product marketing plans.
  • Work with sales and e-commerce teams for customer marketing plans.
  • Photo and video retouching, resizing, and editing of content from various sources.
  • Manage relationships with printers and coordinating project details to ensure creative assets are adjusted to various sizing and formats. Approve proofs to ensure content standards and integrity.
  • Work with agencies to educate and ensure all creative is on brand and follows guidelines.
  • Potentially in a future capacity, develop and train team members to ensure projects are on brand and completed according to the agreed upon schedule.


Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of print and layout graphics experience, preferably with large consumer-brands. (Client or Agency Side).
  • Positive and fun attitude. Highly collaborative. Ability to work with diverse teams and with shifting priorities. Ability to work independently under tight timelines, with a bias towards action.
  • Diverse design portfolio.
  • Expert in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • An eagerness to learn and experiment with designs, photography, and video editing, to constantly improve the quality of our content.
  • Adaptable and flexible.
  • Manage many projects in a fast-paced environment with many projects and tight timelines.
