Daily Activities Extract crucial information from data to support organizational needs. Identify and implement improvements in processes, data management, and reporting. Work with large and complex databases containing millions to billions of records. Enhance operational efficiencies and effectiveness across the board. Conduct analyses to evaluate and test internal processes. Analyze data to inform and refine our product offerings. Consult on the design and implementation of new data systems and storage solutions. Develop and execute strategic tests on products, initiatives, and marketing materials. The ideal candidate will be at the forefront of analytical technology, bringing a passion for innovative tools. Strong problem-solving ability, conceptual thinking, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are essential. This role demands adaptability in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects, placing significant emphasis on Business Intelligence. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related) or equivalent experience, with at least 6 years in data analytics or a Master's degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience. A minimum of 4 years of professional data analysis experience. At least 4 years of programming experience. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in a STEM discipline. At least 7 years of professional data analysis experience. Proficiency in Python, R, Spark, or SQL for at least 4 years. Minimum of 1 year in people management roles. Experience managing projects for at least 1 year. Familiarity with Tableau for at least 1 year. Experience in utilizing and developing within AWS services. Capital One welcomes new qualified applicants for employment authorization. The minimum and maximum annual salaries for this role are as follows: Richmond, VA: $144,000 - $164,400. Salaries for other locations may vary. Additionally, this role is eligible for performance-based incentives, including cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives.
