Commercial Journeyman ElectricianABM Industries is seeking a (Part time) Commercial Journeyman Electrician to join our Technical Solutions Team. The Commercial Electrician is responsible for the safe and efficient installation and maintenance of electrical power distribution equipment. This role performs a variety of electrical tasks safely, including installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, testing, repairing and installation in large commercial projects. Pay: $40.00-$45.00/hr. The pay listed is the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. This opportunity has the potential into turning Full time (40+ hours per week). For the meantime, Part time will offer between 30-32 hours per week, M-F (Day shift), some Saturdays as needed.Essential FunctionsProvide quality electrical installations under the supervision of the electrical foremanEnsure code compliance through proper installation of electrical componentsResponsibilitiesPerforms electrical installations of a commercial natureIdeal candidate will be comfortable driving a buck truck when needed.Plans layout and installation of electrical equipment, conduit, wiring and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codesWorks from ladders, scaffolds, or lifts to install electrical conduit, equipment, fixtures or wiringInstalls, inspects and tests electrical systems. Installations include but are not limited to panel boards, conduits, lay-in fixtures, wall packs, exit signs, light fixtures, disconnects, breakers, power distribution equipment and power supply wiringReads and understands labels, job site maps, instruction manuals, and written instructions accurately to perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standardsMay perform other duties or be required to work on different projects as neededRequirementsMust have Valid Driver's License3-5 years of similar experience requiredMust have a current Nevada General Electrician certification or NV Journeyman LicenseABM is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer qualified applicants without regard race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran or any other protected factor under federal, state, or local law.
