Job Summary:

Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated Data Architect to join our Systems Engineering and Integration program.  Our agile company-wide engineering team supports an operational government customer within the Intelligence Community.  

  • This position is an onsite role – Aurora, CO or Las Cruces, NM

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Specific focus areas will include development and analysis of data relationships and schemas, interpretation of various repository systems. and concisely reporting on data holdings.
  • The Data Architect will collaborate with teams at different sites and support their data analysis needs and be technically savvy and passionate about delivering impactful deliverables to implement the contract. 
  • Responsible to work with technical leads from other disciplines to ensure that the product’s technical solutions and approaches are consistent with other parts of the enterprise.
  • Communicate technical plans to technical and non-technical team members and stakeholders at all levels of organization.

Basic Qualifications: 

Typically requires a Bachelor’s in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 10 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

  • Atlassian tools with emphasis on Confluence and Jira
  • ServiceNow with emphasis on HelpNow.
  • Experience with software development life cycle and coding or scripting experience.
  • Experience with application scalability and performance testing.
  • Experience with deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)
  • Database architecture, database modeling, high availability, data storage with company management processes.
  • Experience working in an Agile software development framework.
  • Designing and developing architectures with distributed and tiered applications or real time data movement with edge devices that use security and encryption protocols.
  • Experience with large-scale application portfolios in company-wide environments (including migration of on premise to cloud) and security aspects of cloud architecture.
  • An active and in-scope TS/SCI with CI Poly U.S. security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Enterprise scale cloud and hybrid infrastructures for data metrics, architecture designs, migrations, and technology ownership.
  • Data analysis and modeling.
  • Management of Configuration Databases

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
