Job Title: Cath Lab Technician Job Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x9.5-Hour (07:00 - 16:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 1 year minimum required; first-time travelers accepted License: Not specified Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT Must-Have: - Cath lab experience - Experience with EKGs, C-Arm, Contrast, Stents, Angioplasty, CERNER, GE x-ray system, GE Job Description: - Handle both outpatient and inpatient cases in a community hospital setting - Perform procedures such as EKGs, C-Arm usage, and angioplasty - Utilize CERNER and GE x-ray systems - Conduct daily caseloads of approximately 10 cases - Participate in call duties on weeknights and weekends (15-18 days in a six-week schedule) - Support Cath lab operations with potential coverage in EP lab for pacemaker implants, ICDs, or ablations, and EV cases for peripherals - Cerner experience is highly preferred; Cerner training is not offered during orientation - Complete unit orientation in 3-5 days - Scrubs are provided Preferred skills include endo experience, IV starts, ablations, angiograms, peripherals, vascular studies, hemodynamic monitoring, and Merge systems proficiency. Flu vaccine is required, with medical exemptions only. Please ensure all certifications and relevant experience align with the position's requirements before applying.
