Connect Search Milwaukee has an immediate need for an Infrastructure Engineer that's looking to be a Technical SME. Ideal candidates will have experience across all facets of Infrastructure (Security, Networking, Cloud, Systems, etc...) as well as maintaining and enhancing hybrid infrastructure.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Server Management of both Windows and Linux, virtualization platforms, networking, end user computing, cloud-based solutions and storage
  • Configure, monitor manage and maintain multiple client platforms (Windows, Wyse, ChromeOS, Google Admin, SaaS and other management tools)
  • Planning, designing, developing fundamental cloud infrastructure, systems, security, networking, backup and restoration, DR and testing
  • Previous experience in migrations, on premise to cloud
  • Oversee the M365 Suite, administer AD, Group Policy, EntraID and more
  • Oversee various storage platforms to ensure data integrity and availability
  • Manage related networks, servers, backup servers, databases
  • Design and maintain operating system backup solutions for system and disaster recovery
  • Provide infrastructure performance reporting and statistics as needed
  • Participate in IT infrastructure projects


Technology Desired:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Microsoft 365 and administration experience including: MECM, SCCM, MS Teams and Phone
  • Administration or Engineering experience with Windows, Google/Chrome DesktopOS
  • Enterprise environment experience
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Communication skills, both written and verbal are required
