Specifically, Federal and State Individual and Fiduciary tax returns.Oversee and manage the tax return process including identification and resolution of tax issuesExperience with corporation and partnership accounting and tax conceptsMentor, train and manage staff accountants to meet deadline and prioritize workloadEffectively manage multiple tax engagements in a team environment, and also work independently. Identify potential opportunities for new and/or expanded client servicesAbility to lead and manage engagements, including budgeting, billing and engagement economicsHighly proactive approach to serving clientsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field is requiredCPA or JD required10+ years of recent tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or with a mix of public/private experience10+ years of progressive tax experience providing tax compliance and consulting services for individuals and S-corporations or partnerships6+ years of experience working in complex technical taxPreferred/Desired Qualifications:Master's degree in tax or equivalent field preferredExperience acquiring new clients and growing a book of businessEisnerAmper is proud to be a merit-based employer.
