Project Manager-ConversionWe are seeking an Assistant Project Manager/Project Manager to support our Senior Project Manager. The successful candidate will manage all construction documents for projects, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders. You will be responsible for supporting 5-10 projects simultaneously, with project sizes ranging from $500,000 to $2 million. Additionally, you will coordinate with subcontractors, assist with client communication, scheduling, and material orders, and attend occasional site meetings on the East Coast.Responsibilities:Manage and support all construction documents including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.Oversee and coordinate 5-10 projects concurrently, with project sizes ranging from $500,000 to $2 million.Attend site meetings on project sites across the East Coast as needed.Coordinate paperwork with subcontractors.Assist with client communication, scheduling, and material orders.Essential Skills:Minimum of 4 years of experience in a construction setting supporting project management.Experience with construction documents such as RFIs, submittals, change orders, and blueprints.Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with trade contractors.Proficiency in supporting project management tasks including scheduling, material ordering, and maintaining meeting minutes.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering is preferred.Work Environment:The position is based in our Aberdeen office, supporting the Senior Project Manager. Expect to travel to job sites about twice a month for day trips. You will work with small project teams, typically comprising one Project Manager and a Superintendent. Our office environment is small, with around ten staff members, fostering a family-like atmosphere. We are a family-run business with 40 years of experience, operating across the East Coast, and we highly value work-life balance.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bel Air, MD.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $46.00/hr.
