Description
Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
- Manage monthly close process
- Journal Entries and General Ledgers
- Monthly and quarterly reconciliations
- ERP system implementation
- Process improvements
- Assist the Financial Controller and Senior Management in strategic planning
- Weekly P&L reporting
Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business
- CPA certification highly preferred
- 3+ years of experience in Accounting
- Transportation, distribution, or logistics experience required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge (V-Lookup, pivot tables, macros, complex formulas)
- Knowledge of GAAP
