You may review, modify, or update your information by visiting and logging into the careers section of the system.Job DescriptionAt Regions, the Regions Affordable Housing (RAH) Financial Analyst develops complex financial models, financial planning systems, and procedures designed to protect assets and enhance yield for affordable housing transactions using the low-income housing tax credit. This role engages internal stakeholders across the RAH organization and recommends transaction structures and to maximize performance of projects under consideration.Primary ResponsibilitiesAnalyzes, consolidates, and interprets financial data related to affordable housing project using the low-income housing tax creditUnder the direction of a more senior Financial Analyst, prepares complex financial models related to affordable housing: identifies questions and gaps for further reviewRecommends structural changes and/or enhancements related to affordable housing transactions, such as improving operations, enhancing yield, resolving potential exceptions to RAH underwriting standards and other similarly complex real estate mattersWorks with the investor services team to resolve project-level questions and concernsDuring underwriting, continues to be the subject matter expert for questions and transaction structural changes that require changes to the financial modelRequirementsBachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or a directly related fieldThree (3) years of experience with financial analysis within the real estate or affordable housing industryPreferencesMaster of Business Administration (MBA)Skills and CompetenciesAbility to manage multiple prioritiesAbility to research, analyze data, and derive factsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skillsStrong work ethic and self-motivationPosition TypeFull timeCompensation DetailsPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.Job Range Target:Minimum: $91,449.92 USD Median: $115,143.60 USD Incentive Pay Plans: This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan.
