Shipping And Receiving ClerkWe are seeking a meticulous Shipping And Receiving Clerk to ensure the accurate processing and verification of shipments. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy and organizing the receiving area.Responsibilities:Compare received goods with packing slips and note any shortages or damages.Create stock tickets for new inventory and determine proper packaging.Measure product dimensions using both metric and US systems as needed.Keep receiving areas clean and orderly.Create records or enter data for inventory management.Essential Skills:Proficiency in inventory management and control.Experience in shipping and receiving processes.Ability to operate a forklift.Skills in order selection, picking, and packing.Strong material handling capabilities.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Attention to detail for verifying goods against packing slips.Ability to efficiently process and organize stock.Competency in measuring product dimensions accurately.Experience in maintaining clean and orderly work areas.Work Environment:The work environment is dynamic and requires attention to detail. You will work with various inventory management technologies and equipment, including forklifts. The role demands maintaining clean and organized receiving area.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract To Hire position based out of Elizabethtown, KY.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $20.75/hr.
