Lab CourierAs a Courier, you are a professional who delivers and maintains specimen integrity and solves client issues so that our caregivers can provide accurate analysis and quality care to our patients.Responsibilities:Daily Assignments. Execute each courier route with efficiency, ensure the integrity of each delivery; access, navigate and send correspondence using designated computer.Customer Service. Perform duties in a professional and courteous manner, promote superior customer service and customer relations; use sound judgment to problem solve if client issues arise; understand and respect patient confidentiality.Documentation. Report equipment condition and notify coordinator of maintenance requirements.Required Qualifications:Valid New York State Driver's License required.Preferred Qualifications:Friendly, kind and customer service orientedExcellent communication skillsAbility to work independently and make decisionsRochester area geographical knowledge preferredPrevious courier experience or systems driving experienceHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous customer service related work experienceEducation:NYS DL - valid New York State Driver's License - New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (NYSDMV)Physical Requirements:M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements.Any physical requirements reported by a prospective employee and/or employee's physician or delegate will be considered for accommodations.Pay Range:$17.25 - $19.48City: Clifton SpringsPostal Code: 14432Rochester Regional Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
