Vice President Of Ambulatory Revenue Cycle And Managed CareAdventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Vice President of Ambulatory Revenue Cycle and Managed Care who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. Reporting to the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Adventist HealthCare, the Vice President of Ambulatory Revenue Cycle and Managed Care plays an essential role in ensuring the success and financial stability of the Health System. The Vice President of Ambulatory Revenue Cycle and Managed Care is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire revenue cycle for ambulatory services and managing care contracts across the system. This role involves strategic planning, execution, and continuous improvement of revenue cycle processes to maximize financial performance. The VP will work in partnership with entity CFOs, the VP of Hospital Revenue Cycle and various departments to ensure efficient billing, coding, collections, and reimbursement processes while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.As a Vice President of Ambulatory Revenue Cycle and Managed Care you will:Develop and implement strategies to optimize the end-to-end revenue cycle for ambulatory services.Oversee billing, coding, collections, and reimbursement processes to ensure accuracy and efficiencyMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvements to enhance financial performanceCollaborate with clinical and administrative staff to streamline workflows and reduce denials and write-offsNegotiate and manage contracts with managed care organizations (MCOs), insurance companies, and other payersAnalyze contract performance and ensure compliance with contract terms and conditionsDevelop strategies to maximize reimbursement rates and minimize payment delaysMaintain relationships with payers and resolve any contract-related issues or disputesLead and mentor a team of revenue cycle and managed care professionalsFoster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaborationProvide regular training and development opportunities for team membersEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to revenue cycle and managed careDevelop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate risk and ensure ethical billing practicesStay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practicesPrepare and present regular reports on revenue cycle performance and managed care contract outcomesConduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvementDevelop and manage the department budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goalsQualifications include:Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.Extensive experience (10 years) in healthcare revenue cycle covering multiple functions within revenue cycle.Extensive knowledge of ambulatory services and managed care contracting. 5 years of leadership role overseeing revenue cycle functions.Work Schedule:Monday - Friday 8-5pmPay Range: $249,144.83 - $373,717.24If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as: United States of America (Exempt)At Adventist HealthCare our job is to care for you.
