Sr. AccountantWe are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the commercial real estate development and management industry. This role is based in Los Angeles, California, and will involve overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department. The Sr. Accountant will be tasked with handling accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, financial statement preparation, and much more.Responsibilities:Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Accounting DepartmentHandle accounts payable and receivableMaintain the general ledger and prepare financial statementsConduct audits and reconcile bank and credit card accountsOversee building construction draws and tenant improvement workProcess Common Area Maintenance (CAM)Prepare tax returns for external CPAImplement and maintain internal controlsInteract effectively with financial institutions, tenants, and vendorsMaintain a high level of professionalism in appearance, work product, and judgementRequirements:Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant.Proficiency in managing the General Ledger is essential.Experience in Commercial Real Estate is required.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a must.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals.Fluency in English language, both written and spoken, is essential.
