Position Summary:

SHEIN’s Commerce Engineering team builds applications and services that power the experience of millions of SHEIN users, as well as the productivity of thousands of SHEIN employees. We collaborate with partners across the US and around the world to design innovative solutions to hard problems, then write scalable, production-grade code that’s deployed on a global scale.


We are looking for a Software Engineer I who will be integral member of SHEIN’s product R&D team, participating in all phases of the software development life cycle. You will help us build and launch a new high-profile initiative that will impact thousands of internal users and cement SHEIN’s position as the leading technology company in the retail space.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead or collaborate with relevant teams to troubleshoot online quality problems
  • Participate in requirements review, design planning, and implementation
  • Write code according to design requirements and coding standards, create technical documentation, and ensure code quality and performance
  • Think critically about requirements and offer constructive input to teammates and business stakeholders
  • Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior team members


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field is preferred
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Familiarity with mobile development technologies like Kotlin, Swift, React Native, or Flutter
  • Solid foundation in Java, with a good understanding of Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, MyBatis, and other frameworks
  • Strong cross-regional communication and coordination skills
  • Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, execution, learning ability, and ability to handle pressure
  • Familiarity with eCommerce is preferred


Pay: $130,600.00 min - $226,600.00 max annually, Bonus & RSU offered.
