Job Summary:
Affirmed Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aide to join our team in Staten Island, New York. This is a part-time, hourly healthcare/medical job with a compensation of $18 per hour, paid weekly. As a Certified Home Health Aide, you will be responsible for providing in-home care to patients in need, assisting with their daily living activities and helping them maintain a high quality of life.

Responsibilities:
- Provide quality in-home care and assistance to patients under the direction of a registered nurse or physician
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and exercises prescribed by the healthcare team
- Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management as directed
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Communicate with the healthcare team about patients' progress and report any changes or concerns
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for the patient
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Encourage and help patients with their prescribed exercises and activities
- Follow all infection control protocols and maintain confidentiality at all times

Requirements:
- Certification as a Home Health Aide from an accredited training program
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience in home care or a healthcare setting
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans as directed
- Physical ability to lift and transfer patients as needed
